Welcome Back, Peterson Dolphins! 🐬
As we dive into another exciting school year, I am delighted to welcome both new and returning families to Peterson Elementary! It is truly an honor to serve a second term as your PTA President for the 2026–2027 school year, and I look forward to working alongside each of you to create a year filled with learning, growth, and community.
The Peterson PTA is proud to be a 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting our students, teachers, and staff. Together, our parents, families, and community members contribute countless hours both on and off campus—helping to make Peterson such a special place to learn and grow.
🌟 What’s Ahead This Year
We’re excited to bring back some of our biggest fundraising events, including the always-popular Color Fun Run in November and our Read-A-Thon in February. We’re also thrilled to continue a new tradition with our 2nd Annual Parents Gala in March (Be on the lookout for the “Save The Date”)! These events—and your support—help us fund essential programs and opportunities for all students, such as:
🌼Building Community Together
In addition to fundraising, the PTA is here to foster connection and joy. This year, we’ll be hosting family movie nights, garden days, and our much-loved Spring Fling in late April—a fun-filled event that brings together our entire Peterson community. These activities promote health, wellness, and most importantly, togetherness.
📅 Stay Connected
Inside the first day of school packet, you’ll find the 2026–2027 school calendar, upcoming event flyers, volunteer information, PTA meeting dates, and contact details for our hardworking volunteers serving on the PTA executive board. Whether you’re able to give a little time or a lot, your involvement makes a world of difference.
Together, let’s continue to build a culture of excellence, belonging, and joy at Peterson Elementary—for every student, every family, and every member of our community.
Here’s to an amazing year ahead—Go Dolphins! 🐬💙
